Mohammad Haris, Pakistan A Captain - There is always a pressure of the finals and once there is runs on the board, it becomes really difficult for the opposition. We had been trying different combinations in the different games for the past few contests and it has worked to our advantage. We knew India A are a top heavy side and we were looking to pick up the early wickets. The boys have been really motivated and they have performed really well. With an Asia cup and World Cup coming up, these are good signs for our Cricket

Yash Dhull, Captain, India A - Pakistan A batted well and Tayyab made the difference with his 100. We played a few rash shots during our innings and that turned out to be our undoing. I still feel the decision to field first wasn't wrong. All our players are youngsters and it has been a superb experience for us getting to play at this level.

Nishant Sindhu, India A, Player of the tournament - The mood was quite normal in the camp and we decided to take the game ball by ball and then see the end result. The surface did play to my advantage in that semi final game and I was able to make the most of it.

Tayyab Tahir (Player of the Match): It was team effort and the effort of our coach. We wanted to find momentum early on and keep going. We lost some wickets in between but wanted to keep doing. Mubasir spoke to me and we decided to slow down the momentum. They had taken some wickets, so we wanted to slow the game down. We picked it up once again after we had settled. It's Allah's blessings to score the hundred.

Mohammad Wasim: It was a team effort. The wicket was a bit slow, we had planned to try and score big. I was struggling a bit with the new ball. It was good coming in first change today.

The Shaheens have soared and they 've soared really high here as they clinch the ACC Emerging Asia Cup by a thumping margin of 128 runs in the end. They batted really well in the first innings and put on a massive 352 on the board. With the ball in hand, they dominated after the powerplay and completely outplayed their India A counterparts.

The Indians got off to a good start in the run chase but they lost their way in the middle overs. Sai Sudharsan and Abhishek Sharma put on a 50 plus opening stand again but the problems started soon after. Nikin Jose got a poor decision from the umpire and that could have made a major difference in the larger scheme of things. Vice Captain Abhishek Sharma and skipper Yash Dhull put on a partnership in the middle overs but Sufiyan Muqeem broke the partnership and the procession began from there.

The spinners ran through the Indian A middle order as the likes of Dhull, Sindhu, Jurel and the top scorer Abhishek Sharma threw their wickets away. Sufiyan Muqeem, the mystery spinner went for a few runs early on but he came back really well to pick up three wickets. The other spinners also did well as Mumtaz and Mubashir backed him up. A word of appreciation is also due for the Pakistani seamers Iqbal and Wasim as they cleaned up the tail. The former in particular was really impressive as he landed the big blow early on to send back Sudharshan.

The Indians have had a superb campaign in this Emerging Asia Cup but they have been completely outplayed by a superior Pakistani side in the final. They had a lot more experience in their ranks with three international players and they made full use of it. The Shaheens have now won two back to back emerging Asia Cups and they can be mighty proud of their efforts.
