Unfortunately, they left a little too much to do in the final over and were not able to cross the line this time around. Kings will look at couple things that were the cause of their defeat one being the calls for running between the wickets and the final over from their skipper Jaipal which probably was tad expensive.

The slower bowlers did the trick for Brescia as Hasnat managed to get the big wicket of Kumar who was tonking the ball all around. However, Kings batter did continue to find the odd boundaries and keep themselves relevant in the chase.

Kumar was the aggressor as he smashed the ball to all parts. Malkeet as well joined the act later however, he lost his wicket just around the halfway stage of the innings. However, the proceedings did not slow down for the Kings as Simranjit in next found boundaries straight away.

Coming in to chase 120, the Kings had sedated start as the Brescia opening bowlers initially managed to keep things tight. However, as the innings progressed the Kings openers started to find their groove and stepped on the gas to get their scoreboard racing.

It's Brescia who break the winning steak of the Kings. The Kings were almost there but just made a couple of errors in the final over and that probably proved to be fatal. Brescia with this win start their campaign in this super series with a win.
