That's it from the coverage, hope you enjoyed it. Until next time, this is Pragadeesh and Arya signing off
Faf du Plessis (Joburg Super Kings Captain): It was a lot close. We got the start and that was important. The style of Reza and myself was to attack but there was swing early on. 170 was par and we know the wicket behaves better at night. It's always nice to get over the line. We know these guys are tough and we are facing them again tomorrow. The crowd is so loud and I want to thank everyone for coming in
Leus du Plooy (Man of the Match) - Just accessing the conditions early on. The ball misbehaved slightly at the start but Faf and Reza made my job easy. I will just stick to my game and my natural instincts always gets over. They bowled brilliantly and lucky we got momentum at the back end of the innings. I thought we are just 10 runs short but the bowlers bowled superbly and it's good to be on the winning side. It's nice to have momentum heading into tomorrow's game
Wayne Parnell (Pretorius Capitals captain): I think just unforced errors really. I felt they were 15 runs short and it was well within our reach. We made a couple of silly errors which proved to be the difference. Good effort from the Super Kings, Du Plooy batted brilliantly. No I think, its cricket, there is always going to be a winner and a loser. I am not that bothered by this loss. No, I think it's about resetting. We played good cricket for the most of the match and made crucial errors.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
Joburg Super Kings won by 6 runs Leus du Plooy 75(40) | Phil Salt 29(15) Aaron Phangiso 4-32 | Eathan Bosch 3-12(3)
Turned out to be a remarkable last over by Shepherd. We could see the tensed faces all around The Wanderers but he kept his cool, executed his slow deliveries to perfection and helped Joburg cross the finish line
The Wanderers always delivered high-octane clashes in the past and we just witnessed one. The Capitals' batters tried to be super-aggressive at the start but their approach backfired as they kept losing wickets. The visitors rely heavily on the top-order but Jacks and Rossouw fell in two consecutive deliveries, while Phil Salt looked in fine touch but failed to convert the start into a big score. Salt became Phangiso's first victim and he proved to be a nightmare to the middle-order batters. Neesham took him on and smashed three consecutive sixes but the canny spinner had the last laugh as he removed the southpaw to help his team regain control
The game had a lot of ebbs and flows in the final four overs but Wayne Parnell and Bosch hung in and got them closer. With 21 needed from the final two overs, the pressure got the better of the Capitals as we saw a needless run out in the penultimate over before Shepherd rose to the occasion and defended 10 runs off the last over when the odds were stacked against the hosts

19.6 Romario Shepherd to Anrich Nortje, that's the game for the Joburg Super Kings. Another slower delivery on the surface well outside off. Nortje comes down the track and swipes across the line. Misses it completely. Nortje has actually nicked it as Shepherd finishes his spell with another wicket.
Anrich Nortje, RHB, walks in at no.11
19.5 Romario Shepherd to Adil Rashid, WICKET! Faf du Plessis has taken the catch. Again a slower delivery on a length outside off. Rashid gets across the off-stump and tries to muscle it down the ground. Ends up slicing that straight down the throat of Faf du Plessis at long-off. Makes good bit of ground and clings onto that.
Adil Rashid c Faf du Plessis b Shepherd 8 (5b, 0x4, 1x6)
Tense faces all around. Shepherd executed his slow deliveries superbly so far. 7 runs needed off 2 balls
19.4 Romario Shepherd to Adil Rashid, a slower delivery on the surface well wide outside off. Rashid moves across the off-stump and flat bats that over the cover fielder, good work by the sweeper cover and keeps it to just a couple.
19.3 Romario Shepherd to Adil Rashid, swing and a miss. That's a dot ball. Back of a length a shade outside off. Rashid swings through but doesn't make any connection.
19.2 Romario Shepherd to Wayne Parnell, on a length around middle, Parnell swings across the line and gets it from the inside half of the bat down towards square leg for a single.
19.1 Romario Shepherd to Wayne Parnell, priceless dot ball for the Super Kings. Slower back on the surface and Parnell way too early into the attempted pull.
Pretoria Capitals need 10 runs to win from 6 balls
Can Shepherd deliver for Joburg?
Adil Rashid is a proper number 10 to have in any team. Joseph's slow delivery was in the slot and Rashid swings it over long-on and got a much-needed maximum

2/34
18.6 Alzarri Joseph to Adil Rashid, SIX! That is a massive blow in the context of the game by Adil Rashid. That was a slower delivery from Joseph and that sat up perfectly for Rashid. He swings across the line and makes great enough connection. Gets it just over the long-on fielder. 10 runs required of the final over.
18.5 Alzarri Joseph to Adil Rashid, swing and a miss. Fuller-length delivery just a shade outside off, Rashid makes some room and tries to thrash it away through the cover region, gets beaten.
