The game was always going to head one way....halfway into the first innings itself. Jamshed Khan's record-breaking hundred had snatched the game well and truly out of the Koln Challengers' grasp in the first place, and even though they started off on a great note, there were to be no miracles on show today. The best that they could have done post the middle overs was to reduce the margin of defeat, and....well, they weren't too successful at that either.

Amey Potale was the only batter who stepped up for the Challengers in the run chase. He led the charge early on, providing a good start to his side in the powerplay, but found very little support from the other end. Far too little support, in fact - his score of 55 was 46 more than the next best in the batting order as none of the batters were able to cross double figures.

The Dusseldorf Blackcaps bowlers did take a beating from that one man, but Muhammad Raheel, the left-arm pacer stood out with his in-dipping deliveries. He was instrumental in killing the game off, picking up four wickets, including the one of Potale. The Blackcaps cruise to possibly one of the most convincing wins that they'll achieve - the margin being 120 runs.
