Beveren put up an inspired performance with the ball in hand to restrict Lightning to just 86/7 and wrap this game up by 16 runs. Shahidullah Otmanzai was the star for them, and he ended up with figures of 3/10. The batters of the Lightning just did not seem up to the task. Beveren skipper Hakim Khaksar will be happy with his wards.

For the Lightning, Kenroy Nestor tried his best to take charge towards the end of the game, but somehow it did not come off. Sameer Nayak, who has played ten ODIs for U.A.E, was sent too low down the order, and could not make a difference. Beveren will be very happy with this showing, and take a lot of confidence from it!
