Well, the rain has been relentless and looks like it is unlikely to stop anytime soon. Even if it were to, it would take another hour or so - at least - for the ground staff to get the outfield and the square ready for action. Hence, the umpires have decided to call it a day. The points for this match will be shared equally between the two teams.

Team Tigers Portugal came to Cartaxo today geared up to compete in three fiercely contested T10 matches. Unfortunately, their real opponents today have been the rain gods.
Their first match of the day got curtailed by rain and Punjab CC Amadora chased down the rain adjusted target to win it by 6 wickets. The second game couldn't even see a solitary ball as the weather did not relent and the points had to be shared ultimately.
Here again, the toss has been delayed due to inclement weather. But the essence of cricket - and sport in general - is to never lose hope until it is actually over. So, we - Darpan and Pradeep - have our eyes at the Santarem Cricket Ground and hearts full of optimism. We will provide you the next update as soon as we have it. Alright then. Still early days in the Group A but teams cannot get stumbled with defeats after defeats and lose their way. Teams that stay consistent will have a better chance of making it into the playoff stages of the tournament.
Lisbon Capitals are having slightly better fortune than their opponent in this game. They have managed to win a solitary game after playing four games. Whereas, Team Tiger Portugal have lost all three games and one of the game was abandoned and are desperately looking to register their first win of the tournament.
