Luxembourg capped off a brilliant all-round performance by chasing this total down within nine overs. Their bowlers had given them a headstart, and their batters, led by skipper Vikram Vijh and Tony Whiteman, led them to a clinical victory.

France did not do well with the bat at all. They were decent with the ball, and thanks have to be given to both the Mangals- Rahmatullah and Rohullah along with skipper Noman Amjad for keeping the hopes of their supporters alive till the very end.
