A win for France but it was not as straightforward as they would've liked it to be. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals but it was Omer who played the role of a saviour for them to keep their ship afloat. France lost Zain off the very first ball of the innings and lost as many as six wickets by the end of the fourth over. Although the score had crossed the 50-run mark, Luxembourg threatened to run away with a win by snaring wickets.

It was then that the duo of Mustafa Omer and Dawood Ahmadzai joined hands to guide France to their third win of the tournament. They duo made sure that they played out the good balls and attacked the poor ones. Luxembourg threw it all away with no balls, missed catches and other extras which, if prevented, could have very well given a good twist to the tale. In the end, some powerful hitting from Omer ensured that France crossed the finish line.
