Just like a batter in form does to a half-tracker, Malo have dismissed Fighters CC from their presence and have notched up a huge win to begin their Super 5 campaign. A lackluster performance with the bat, with the ball and more so on the field has strengthened Fighters CC's chances of being the only team to be eliminated at the end of the Super 5 stage.

Never at any point during the run chase, did it look like Fighters were in with a chance or were even competing. They lost their first wicket off the third delivery in the innings and it was all about Malo's clinical bowling from there on.

None of the batters were allowed to go big and even when they tried most of them hit it to the fielders or were not good enough to clear the ropes. There were a few 20s from the likes of Parwinder, Gurwinder and Rahul but none of them were at the pace that Fighters needed and 20s anyways won't get you to a target of 163.

Malo bowlers were clinical and professional and did not allow any breathing room to the batters. Adnan Gondal got a bit of a lottery at the fag end of the match and ran away with 4 wickets but the likes of Asghar, Mian Shahid and Shahzad were exceptional up top and got a wicket each.

The real hero of the match though was the opening partnership from the Malo openers, Amir Zaib and Imran Khan who played through all the 10 overs and got a formidable score on the board. Amir Zaib scored a fantastic hundred and Imran Khan played the perfect supporting cast in a partnership that set up the match for Malo.
