Once, again it has been an absolutely clinical effort from Spain with the bat as they have clinched this game by 8 wickets and with 9 balls to spare. They send their lesser established batters to open the innings this time and they did a great job by putting together a match winning partnership. Mirza in particular was really severe on anything loose and Sayed gave her good support as she played the anchor role. They did get dismissed in quick succession but the job was already done by then and Naseeb and Butt finished it off with a couple of singles.

The Malta bowlers tried hard but it wasn't easy for them as their in experience showed. They failed to get their radars right with the ball and gave away a lot of extras. Budhathoki did bowl well but she too failed to break the partnership. In the end, they managed to get a couple of wickets back to back and earned a bit of a consolation. Anupama Rameshan was the pick of the bowlers as she picked up the sole wicket.
