Right. In this rain interrupted game, Mater Dei did pretty well to seal the game in the end. Credit to their bowlers to keep a check on the run flow in the first innings and that meant Mater Dei were chasing a below par total in 9 overs.

Shrijay Patel and Azeem Sathi struggled to get out of the blocks early and when Patel perished, it was Samuel Stanislaus who upped the ante, he took the game from the scruff of the neck and put the pressure back on the bowling team. His 32 off 17 helped them seal the game.

Abbas in the 9th over picked up back to back wickets, there were some nerves in the Mater Dei dug out but Younus who came in ensured no hiccups further and then helped his team get over the line with five deliveries to spare.
