A comprehensive defeat dished out to Badalona Shaheen despite the fight shown by their top-order. They just had far too much to chase and eventually, one wicket leading to another resulted in the wheels coming off in entirety.

Chasing 171, the batters swung hard despite losing a couple of wickets in the powerplay. The runs kept coming at will with Babar Khan meaning business and finding the fence at will. Mati Ur Rehman also got in on the act and at 65/2 in 4 overs, the contest was right in the balance.

Then came Jehanzaib Asghar to orchestrate a collapse in the form of a hat-trick. That led to the Domino Effect taking centerstage as one after another, the batters came and went with Rehman watching from the worst seat in the house. The cookie had well and truly crumbled and Rehman too departed soon after with the asking rate escalating to gargantuan proportions. Muhammad Armghan Khan wasn't going to stop with a blistering 77 alone and chipped in with three wickets with the ball in hand.

Eventually, the inevitable that was Badalona Shaheen being bundled out ensued and they have been subjected to a real thumping. Mind you, their batters really shouldn't go hard on themselves given that they did whatever the equation demanded of them.
