MSC Frankfurt beat Ostend Exiles by 28 runs.

This is only the fourth time in the history of the ECL that a team has batted first, been all out and yet come out victorious. MSC Frankfurt have been simply brilliant with their bowling and fielding, restricting Ostend Exiles to as low a score in their run chase, as possible, and securing a top-spot finish in Group D. Ostend Exiles finish 2nd.

Apart from Amin Shah, no other batter could really get going and against a very potent bowling attack, it was a real struggle for the Belgian side with the bat.

With the ball, Waheed Ahmed, Daud Muhammad and Qader Khan were the pick of the bowlers but all the bowlers, including Shahid Afridi and Jawad Azizi, took 2 wickets each.
