It was a whirlwind named Shahid Afridi that came, saw and conquered the bowling, as MSC Frankfurt registered a fairly comfortable win in the end, taking their net run-rate higher above the other two teams in the Super Three of Group D.

Shahid Afridi got decent support from his opening partner, Amin Khan, and along with cameos from Waled Khan and Paramveer Singh, with a steady batting effort from captain Sekandar Khan, who remained not out in the end, made light work of the run chase.

The bowling on the whole was put to the sword and there was no real answer to the blitzkrieg put up by Afridi and company.
