Bugibba Blasters got off to a good start to the run-chase but lost their way going into the middle-overs. Gautam Singh was the one accelerating the innings at the start, but got very little support from the other end with Gaurav Maithani holing out first ball and Pavan Kalyan taking a long time to get the runs. Narendar Negi kept them in the run-chase for as long as he could, but once he departed for a 14-ball 28, the Blasters had nowhere to go. Kalyan could have salvaged something after a slow start to his innings, but it turned out to be a painful 5 off 12 that ended in the penultimate over. Msida Warriors take the first of the two games between these two sides today.
