Selvin Duncan finished things off in style and this has been an emphatic win from the Mt Irvine Surfers. They've finished this game off in just 8 overs and have picked up two crucial points in the process. This has been a dominant batting effort from them and they hardly gave their opponents any chance.

The batters took their chances early on and took on the bowling in the powerplay which helped them to get ahead of the game right at the start. Gidron Pope and Cooper played some eye catching shots in their partnership and scored some really crucial boundaries. Pope scored 42 whereas Cooper played second fiddle as he scored 25 in the partnership.

The bowlers of the Royals took some beating early on and it was only Raymond who could make some impact in the game later on in the innings as he picked up a couple of wickets. Vikash Mohan along with Joachim picked up a wicket each but they were far too expensive for their liking and failed to penetrate the batting order in the middle overs.
