And Plovdiv have done it! They didn't quite need wickets to get back in the game, some very, very tidy death bowling and some inspired fielding efforts have done the job for them! Mukul Kadyan and Akshay Harikumar were running away with the game for Pleven in the middle overs, targeting the short boundaries and taking the equation close ball by ball, but it was Parth Acharya who proved to be the trump card for Plovdiv! Having been struck for back-to-back boundaries in his first over, he first came back brilliantly to close the over out. Muhammad Uzair then bowled a tight penultimate over as the two batsmen, trying to find the long mid-wicket boundary, could only manage runs between the wickets. 6 came off that, Acharya then had 11 to defend off the final over, and other than the wide delivery, he didn't concede anything lethal! Mukul Kadyan, opening the innings, played really well for his 29-ball 46, but it proved to be inadequate. Plovdiv take the first of the two games between these sides today by 2 runs, as they clash again in a few minutes time!
