That's it from us for game 1 of 2 on double-header Sunday. We will be back for more. Till then it is bye bye from here.
Mohammad Rizwan | Multan captain: It is not an individual game and the way our batting and bowling is going, it's good. The way Abbas bowled today, Miller finished and Rossouw made runs we are ticking all the boxes.
Abbas Afridi | Player of the Match: The management has helped me and we follow the plans given to us by our coaches.
Shadab Khan | Islamabad captain: Don't think so (whether opting to bowl was a wrong decision), we had confidence in our chasing abilities and we still believe it was the right call. 190 was gettable but we just couldn't. Had to play Abrar as I wasn't fit enough to bowl a full spell and in a day game, the extra spinner does help. We'll bounce back.
Carlos Brathwaite | Multan Sultans player: When we bat we bat simple, so that got a good score. When we bowled, the credit should be given to pacers. Usama Mir should also be given due credit. He gets wickets in the middle. His performance is key. And then there is Ihsanullah. Ihsanullah is crafty with slow balls, yorker, and short balls. He is always willing to learn.
Multan Sultans win by 52 runs!
Rassie van der Dussen - 49 (32b) | Abbas Afridi - 4/32 Colin Munro - 31 (23b) | Mohammad Ilyas - 2/12
Multan look so strong. They have brushed aside Islamabad here. A win by 52 runs is a statement of intent in a T20.
Chasing 191, Stirling went early and Nawaz sparkled for a while before he fell. Rassie van der Dussen and Colin Munro looked good in that partnership but Usama Mir changed the game with 2 wickets in one over.
And then the pacers Ihsanullah and Abbas Afridi took over, finishing it off with a flurry of wickets.
Ihsanullah in particular was extremely pacey and bowled in the high 140s.
Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
17.5 Ihsanullah to Abrar Ahmed, BOWLED HIM! A yorker on the middle stump line, Abrar shows all his three stumps but fails to jam his bat in time. Multan win by 52 runs!
Abrar Ahmed b Ihsanullah 0 (1b 0x4 0x6)
17.4 Ihsanullah to Tom Curran, ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST! That's a Rizwan special catch! Bangs it short on the middle stump line, Curran gets the connection off the glove. Rizwan races to his left and dives like a dolphin coming out of water to take a fine catch.
Tom Curran c Mohammad Rizwan b Ihsanullah 1 (2b 0x4 0x6)
17.3 Ihsanullah to Rumman Raees, a yorker on off, knocked towards mid off for a single.
17.2 Ihsanullah to Rumman Raees, FOUR! A touch fuller on off, Rumman shows all his three stumps and strikes it past mid on for a boundary.
17.1 Ihsanullah to Rumman Raees, length and outside off, past the outside edge of the batter.
That should be the game. Two slower balls and two wickets and then a short ball gets a third wicket. The game's done and dusted.

16.4 Abbas Afridi to Faheem Ashraf, ANOTHER ONE GOES! Back of a length and outside off, Faheem goes for the pull but gets a top edge. Abbas races towards his right and takes the catch low on the dive. Wait! It has been referred upstairs. The soft signal is not out. No contact with the ground when Abbas slides. Faheem will have to depart.
