Mohammad Rizwan | Multan captain: It is not an individual game and the way our batting and bowling is going, it's good. The way Abbas bowled today, Miller finished and Rossouw made runs we are ticking all the boxes.

Abbas Afridi | Player of the Match: The management has helped me and we follow the plans given to us by our coaches.

Shadab Khan | Islamabad captain: Don't think so (whether opting to bowl was a wrong decision), we had confidence in our chasing abilities and we still believe it was the right call. 190 was gettable but we just couldn't. Had to play Abrar as I wasn't fit enough to bowl a full spell and in a day game, the extra spinner does help. We'll bounce back.

Carlos Brathwaite | Multan Sultans player: When we bat we bat simple, so that got a good score. When we bowled, the credit should be given to pacers. Usama Mir should also be given due credit. He gets wickets in the middle. His performance is key. And then there is Ihsanullah. Ihsanullah is crafty with slow balls, yorker, and short balls. He is always willing to learn.

Multan look so strong. They have brushed aside Islamabad here. A win by 52 runs is a statement of intent in a T20.

Chasing 191, Stirling went early and Nawaz sparkled for a while before he fell. Rassie van der Dussen and Colin Munro looked good in that partnership but Usama Mir changed the game with 2 wickets in one over.

And then the pacers Ihsanullah and Abbas Afridi took over, finishing it off with a flurry of wickets.

Ihsanullah in particular was extremely pacey and bowled in the high 140s.
