Commentary

A game worthy of a final! Spencer posted a brilliant total but against that batting line-up of NCCA, they were always short. What a game it turned out to be in the end. NCCA until that onslaught from Cameron Hemp weren't really in the game. Spencer thought, they were always in control but Cameron Hemp came in and played a blistering knock that turned the game on it's head.

Spencer did splendidly well after putting up 133 and then kept striking to keep themselves in the game. It was Oriakhil's two wicket over that put them in the drivers seat but once Hemp came in, Spencer lost for thoughts.

NCCA were brilliant, they've had batters who came in and took the attack to the opposition from ball one and that was something is a hallmark of a great team and who are deserved winners of the title. Agony for Spencer, but they'll take a lot of learning from this season and come back a better side next time around.
