: It was great fun, after the first over, thought it would be a good wicket but the partnership up top worked out for us. Not too much conversation, we've played a lot of cricket together. Loving it, always playing good for the nation, we're having fun at the same time. You're playing against the world's best players, it's all about applying pressure and then come through, definitely learn and get better. Dropped two catches in the first game, was nervous, but it's something you work on.

Michael Bracewell (captain, New Zealand): It was a good bowling performance from us, and very happy with the score we had to chase. The wickets were under the cover and there was some extra bounce so they opted to go with the shorter deliveries. Happy at the half time, very tough bowling today and we were planning to hit with the win but they decided to go all out from both ends. We're pretty happy with the way things are going, guys are bowling well. Wellington's not bad either, but it is pretty good to see fans brave the weather to watch the action.

Salman Ali Agha [Pakistan captain]: It was freezing, it was a good game, better game and lot of positives. We batted bit better in this game, we need to finish well and the fielding was outstanding, bowling, we need to be bit more consistent. The bounce is something we need to adjust to, we can do well if we do that. After powerplay we bowled well, spinners bowled well and Rauf came in bowled well, bowel well in patches and need to do well in powerplay. As a batting unit we need to do well in powerplay, something that we need to get it right.

What a chase this has been by New Zealand, the openers took full toll on the shorter boundaries and smashed boundaries for fun. Pakistan did make a little comeback in the middle overs, but much like the first game, the chase was done with the Kiwi openers giving their side a quick and solid start.

Usual openers, Tim Seifert and Finn Allen opened the innings for New Zealand and the duo hit 44 runs in the first three overs, with 42 of them coming in sixes. New Zealand continued to keep up with a similar tempo but lost Tim Seifert in the process. So did Finn Allen, who took down Jahandad Khan before being dismissed.

James Neesham and Mark Chapman were dismissed cheaply by Daryl Mitchell and Mitchell Hay batted well in the middle to ensure there were no more troubles gunning the total down. In the end, skipper Michael Bracewell struck a boundary and helped his side get over the line, helping them add another win to their kitty and strengthen their lead in the series.

For Pakistan, Haris Rauf and Khushdil Shah bowled really well and planted seeds of doubt in the batter's minds, which ultimately resulted in wickets for them. However, Mohammad Ali, Jahandad Khan, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Afridi were expensive, with Ali being hit for 18 runs in the second over of the chase and Shaheen being smashed for 26 runs in an over.

13.1 Jahandad Khan to Michael Bracewell, FOUR! GAME, SET AND MATCH! New Zealand go 2-0 up in the series with that! Bracewell hits the winning runs as New Zealand chase this down pretty comfortably in the end. Short into the batter, Bracewell pulled it past mid-wicket, races away to the ropes to seal the deal.
