Haidree Lions beat Nicosia XI Fighters by 29 runs.

That was an absolute clinical performance from the Haidree Lions and they will be mighty proud of the way they fought till the very end. Jeevan Lasmal and Syed Tanveer were the stars of the match with the latter changing the entire complexion of the match with his 4 huge sixes and ending with a not-out score of 28 runs in 7 balls.

The innings for Nicosia XI didn't get going as they kept losing wickets at crucial junctures refraining from maintaining the run rate which started around 12. As far as Haidree Lions were concerned Raza Ihsan was the pick of the bowlers who opened the bowling attack and gave away only 5 runs in his 2 overs. While it was Syed Tanveer who stole the show with 3 wickets and the all-round performance by him made sure Haidree Lions clinch this one comfortably.
