Commentary

NICOSIA TIGERS WIN BY 17 RUNS!
The Nicosia Fighters had this game in their grasp for most of the time and should have won it from there 9 out of 10 times. Well, in their defence, this was the tenth.

Openers Abdullah Al Tasmin and Kamrul Mahmud had the Tigers bowlers on the mat with innings of 47 off 18 and 29 off 15 respectively. The duo combined to hit 7 fours and 5 humongous sixes in an attempt to take the Fighters over the line. However, there was no support from the other batters. Parvez Miah looked like taking them home with a couple of big hits but he remained off-strike at crucial times and that was it.

Ataur Rahman was exceptional with figures of 2-0-9-2. He was helped by Mehmood Zeeshan (2-0-14-2) abd Tomal Aminul (2-0-19-2). The latter bowled well at the death not giving the Fighters anything when they needed runs the most. It was a team performance from Nicosia Tigers and they have managed to get over the line yet again.
