18:38 IST || This brings to an end to our live coverage of this clash. I am Samanvaya Sharma signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arya, as we take your leave now. Goodbye!!!
Alana King is the Player of the Match, here is what she had to say: Heart rate is high but for us to defend 108 was exceptional. You have to believe or else you will lose mentally. We knew couple of wickets will get us back. I am so so proud of this group. To be honest, I am just happy to get her wicket, it cost us a few runs. This should not be going to be as it was a team effort. We spoke about that at the start of the tournament. Every game towards the back end will become very important. These wins at home will hugely benefit us.
18:20 IST || MATCH SUMMARY || Perth Scorchers Women won by 2 runs.
Mikayka Hinkley 32(37) Alana King 4-0-23-3 Deandra Dottin 40(27) Alice Capsey 3.5-025-5
Perth Scorchers Women have clinched a miracle of a victory in this nail-biting contest. What a superb thrilling contest this has been.
It all began with team Melbourne Renegades winning the toss and inviting the hosts to bat first. Perth Scorchers were unable to give a blistering start to their innings and ended up scoring a total of just 108 runs. Mikayla Hinkley emerged as the only star batter for them tonight. But no one has even expected in their wildest of dreams that the Scorchers would snatch a victory like this on such a below-par total. Well, that's the beauty of this game. Ainsworth lights up the hopes for the Scorchers in the very first over of the chase when she traps Webb with her outswinger. Alana King comes later on and shakes the Renegades middle order by taking 3 wickets. Sophie Devine too impresses a bit with her bowling skills and got 2 wickets. They never gave a breathing space to the Renegades to score some easy runs.
Melbourne Renegades will be disappointed with the way they bat tonight Their application with the bat looked a bit clueless in this game. A leg injury to de Broughe also created some troubles with their middle order. Dottin stands in for a long time and tries to pull things off but is unable to do so. Alice Capsey grabbed a fifer for them, but it all went into vain.
In the end, Perth Scorchers Women conquered an edge-of-the-seat thriller contest and won this reverse fixture.

19.6 Ebony Hoskin to Sarah Coyte, Perth Scorchers have pulled off an astonishing victory here. On a fullish-length a shade outside off, Coyte gets an inside edge as she tries to crack it through covers, well fielded by the keeper and just a single. Scorchers win by 2 runs.
19.5 Ebony Hoskin to Charis Bekker, that was a low full toss around the middle stump, worked away towards the midwicket region for a single. 4 required off the final delivery.
19.4 Ebony Hoskin to Charis Bekker, Bekker moves across off and tries to ramp the fuller one around off, towards the fine leg region, beaten all ends up.
19.3 Ebony Hoskin to Sarah Coyte, Coyte comes down the track and digs away the full one around middle, towards the mid-on region for a single. Still 5 needed off 3.
19.2 Ebony Hoskin to Charis Bekker, on a goodish-length a shade outside off, pushed away towards the mid-on region from the inside half of the bat, down towards the mid-on fielder and takes a single.
19.1 Ebony Hoskin to Sarah Coyte, on a fuller-length around middle, swiped across the line from the inside half of the bat, down towards the deep square leg region and has to settle for a single.

18.6 Amy Edgar to Charis Bekker, on a length a shade outside off, bunted away on the up towards the backward point fielder. 8 required off 6 deliveries.
18.5 Amy Edgar to Charis Bekker, that looked like sliding down leg to be honest. On a goodish-length around the pads of Bekker, she tries to work it towards the on side, ball tracking confirms that it would have been missing leg stump.
18.4 Amy Edgar to Sarah Coyte, another single taken.
18.3 Amy Edgar to Charis Bekker, single taken.
18.2 Amy Edgar to Charis Bekker, dot ball.
18.1 Amy Edgar to Sarah Coyte, on a fuller-length around middle, worked away towards the square leg region for a single.
Amy Louise Edgar [3.0-0-22-1] is back into the attack
