Psychologically, the game was well away from the grasp of Power CC in the first innings itself. There was a meek effort made by their top-order - Asad Mahmood in particular, but the game was well and truly done and dusted once he departed. It has been a clinical day for Geneva - in all departments, and they went on to seal both their games in grand fashion.

To be fair to them, Power CC did have a good powerplay, but 33 in 3 overs was never going to challenge their opponents. Asad Mahmood had a few good hits in the middle, but eventually holed out to Perera off Abdullrahimzi. The Geneva bowlers then helped themselves to wickets, assisted by some good catching. 7 bowlers were used by them, one of them being introduced between overs as Fazal Karim had to walk off with a sprain in his waist.

With two thumping back-to-back wins under their belt, Geneva look solid contenders for the ECS Switzerland title. They seemed like a complete side on both occasions, and the only way seems to be up for them from hereon.
