An absolutely clinical performance from United. They kept the Spartans down to a chasable total with some set bowling plans. The Spartans tried to emulate similar plans while bowling but didn't have the patience to do so.

The new ball bowlers hurled it too short and too wide and the spinners (United CC didn't use any) tossed it up too often. Their pacers couldn't extract much swing either and spinners' deliveries were skidding on the pitch, sitting up nicely for the batters. Magare and Baghel paced their innings beautifully. Their early pressure followed by a consolidation where they only took on the bad balls made it very difficult for the Spartans.

Wani picked up a couple of consolatory wickets at the end but it was too late till then as Ayush finished things off calmly.
