The Lleida Tigers have pulled of a famous win here! They came into this game as underdogs but they played out of their skin and dominated the Hawks with both bat and the ball. Batting first, they posted their highest score of this year's ECS on the board, as they got to 137/2 in 10 overs. The chase was never going to be easy for the Hawks, and they were on the backfoot, right from the first over, as they lost two wickets at the start of the innings. Kamran Zia and Ali Hassan did bring them back in the game with a partnership, but once their partnership was broken, it seemed a bit too difficult for them. They failed to get the big overs and ended up with just 89/5 in the end. Captain Kamran Zia was the top scorer with the bat as he made 38 of 28 balls. Mohammad Sohail, struck some lusty blows in the end and remained unbeaten on 23 from 11 balls.

The Tigers were excellent with the ball right from the beginning and they gave nothing away. Naveed Riaz and Sajjad Ahmad were the pick of the bowlers as they bowled economical spells and also got wickets. Junaid Afzal, gave them a dream start as he picked up two wickets in the very first over. He had a good day overall as he also made a vital contribution with the batt.

Overall, the Tigers can be really proud of this win as it is only their second win in this tournament. They've beaten a better placed side comprehensively and they can take a lot of heart from this one. The Hawks, will have to get back to the drawing board and get their act together. They are a much better side than what they put on show today and they will be looking to play to their real potential.
