As was expected from them, Roma Gladiatori knock the runs needing just over half the number of overs. Bilal Khan's spell attracted some interest early on, but a total of 61 was always going to be far too less for Roma Capannelle to defend. Shadamgul Zadran walked in and killed the game off with some sumptuous hits, and was the one to finish proceedings eventually.

The way they were going for their shots from ball one, the Gladiatori batters intended on finishing the game off within the powerplay itself, it seemed. But Bilal Khan, with his swing and extra lift off the wicket, accounted for Mubarak Hossain first ball. Muneeb Niazi, the other opener, though, went on the attack, and cleared the ropes a couple of times before being spectacularly held by Aurang at deep square.

Zadran, along with Mukhtiar Singh, went on to apply the finishing touches eventually. Mukhtiar, too, got in on the act with a couple of boundaries, and the Gladiatori were home and dry in no time.
