Earlier in the day, the International Brussels posted a gigantic score of 169 in their allotted 10 overs on the back of a splendid knock from Sai Teepi. He blasted his way to a whirlwind knock of 69 in just 19 deliveries and found an ally in Anand Sundaram who also chipped in with 66 of 31 deliveries. Some quick wickets fell in the final few overs but the damage was mostly done. In the end, it was a comfortable victory by 24 runs for the International Brussels.

It was always going to take a humungous effort from the Royal Brussels to get near the victory target but they at least gave themselves a chance with some exhilarating power-hitting during the powerplay. Muhammad Muneeb took the bowlers by the scruff of the neck and ensured that they made full use of the fielding restrictions. Syed Jamil at the other end scored 43 but took 24 deliveries which proved to be crucial in the end. Eventually some tight bowling in the final overs ensured a 24 runs victory for the International Brussels.

The run-chase faded off towards the last few overs but still, it's a commendable chase from the Royal Brussels. They didn't capitulate in pursuit of a huge target and despite falling short by 24 runs, they should be proud of the way they kept themselves in the game for the majority of the run chase. Muhammad Muneeb was the star in the run-chase for the Royal Brussels but eventually it was a mountain too steep to climb for them.
