What a cracker-jack of a contest to wrap up things for today. It was a topsy-turvy contest throughout and it's unfortunate that we won't have a winner but the match lived up to its billing.

Chasing a big target, the Warriors didn't get off to a good start but the partnership between Vigneshwaran and Sugadev dragged them back into the contest and as the match progressed, it gave some much-needed impetus to the team.

Once the partnership got broken, Sachin played an entertaining cameo and the hopes were pinned on him in the last over but he faced just two deliveries. The stage was set for Govindan to finish things off but he missed out on a juicy full toss in the last ball and the match ended in a tie. The fielding has been sloppy from the Royals at the back end and that proved pivotal for them for not ending up on the right side of the result.
