That is all she wrote for this clash then. A real one-sided affair that sees the Scots breeze through the contest while Germany take a lot more learning experience with them. That didn't take too long! The result was always going to be a foregone conclusion with a 37-run target never going to test the might of the Scots. This, despite a few of their key players rested for this game too! Sarah Bryce and Lorna Jack did exactly what the Germans utterly failed to do - rotate the strike on a regular basis! And with that happening, the game was headed for a pre-Powerplay finish.

Add a couple of boundaries as well to the same and it was among the shortest run-chases possible in a T20 encounter. A rank high full toss on the part of German skipper Anuradha Doddaballapur which was put away to the fence to seal the contest, pretty much summed up a day to forget for Germany who got absolutely nothing going their way today, including the toss!

Anna Healey and Stephanie Frohnmayer sent down a couple of overs each while Anuradha Doddaballapur bowled an unfinished over with the game coming to a close during the same. There wasn't much to ride home about from the bowlers too for Germany, although all the damage was done much earlier when they crawled their way to a paltry 36, getting bundled out in the process.

The win consolidates Scotland's position atop the points table with three wins from as many games. Having beaten their two most challenging competitors in Netherlands and Ireland already, it would take an upset out of nowhere to stop them from making it five out of five and securing a spot in that ICC Women's T20 World Cup, 2023.

And that is that! A waist high full toss from the German skipper is pummeled away over the backward square leg region to put her side out of their misery. Scotland win by 10 wickets with a mind-boggling 91 deliveries to spare! Let that sink in!
