That is all from this match as we see South Africa rise to the top of the WTC table. This is Dwaipayan Mukherjee, signing off with my amiable co-commentator, Sourabh Agrawal. We will see you soon.
Temba Bavuma (Winning captain & Player of the series for his 327 runs in 2 matches): Firstly, it is good to be back. Has been frustrating watching the guys from this side. Lot of hunger and desire from my side to perform when the opportunity comes, quite nice to be back. Durban was quite tricky, specially Day 1 with the overhead conditions. From my side, I look to keep the intent not looking at the technique and how it looks but to keep scoring. Fortunately I was moving well and made the contribution. There was times when we were on top and there were times when Sri Lanka was on top, a lot of credit to Sri Lanka. If you look at their batting order, they are quite dangerous with guys who can score centuries right down to 7, they made us work really hard. All of us are really happy with someone like Rickelton who cam in and scored a hundred. Similarly with the bowling, last time it was Jansen and here it was Paterson, hopefully it continues. It looks good (WTC Table). We are on top and have got 2 games to go. Not sure how the math looks but we will enjoy the victory and then speak about Pakistan a couple of weeks later
Dhananjaya De Silva (Sri Lanka captain) : Obviously this one was a much closer contest than the last game. The boys fought really well and they were in with a chance till the last day but it did not prove to be enough. Yes, the conditions are very different from what we encounter back in home but our bowlers did ask questions as the series went along. Of course, we played better cricket but it was not sufficient to create results that we would want to take back home. We are yet to begin planning for the Australia series but we look forward to showcasing our abilities.
Dane Paterson (Player of the match for his figures of 5/71 and 2/33): It feels really good. It was a team effort, Rickelton, Verryenne and Keshav along with the way we bowled this morning. Good feeling, putting in the hard work and getting the rewards. Winning a test match on Day 5 is surreal. That is why we play this game, we love it. I love going hard at the batters. Now it is sinking in (on 3 wickets in an over), I did not realize that I had 3 wickets in an over but now all the emotions are sinking in.
Karthej - "I do have my skepticism around Sri Lanka. But Pakistan has the capability of defeating South Africa. That will be an interesting series to follow." : Absolutely, the first match of that series begins as early as tomorrow!
11:10 Local Time (14:40 IST) : South Africa defeat Sri Lanka by 109 runs
Maharaj and Rabada began the day for the hosts who were looking to pick the final 5 wickets of the innings before their opposition could score the remaining 143 runs. After 25 minutes of playing them out, Sri Lanka were dealt with a major blow when Mendis edged one to Markram in the slips with Maharaj breaking the stand of 97.
DDS brought up his 19th Test fifty but he had a big job in front of him. Rabada got him caught behind with the visitors losing both their settled overnight batters within the first 36 minutes of the day's play, exposing the Sri Lankan tail with more than 120 runs still needed for a win. SA sniffed blood in the water.
They had beaten the outside edge on numerous occasions, challenging the technique of the Asian side in these conditions and they had emerged triumphant in the battle. Particularly Rabada, who repeatedly hit the same length and got it to move away. He had toiled long and hard under the sun. 8 overs in his opening spell of the day.
It had been an excellent opening hour for the Proteas as they put themselves on the brink of victory. Wickets kept tumbling as Maharaj picked up yet another 5 wicket haul in home conditions. His 11th 5-fer in Test matches. Jansen was the first bowling change for the hosts on Day 5 after 70 minutes and it only took a ball for him to finish the Test match.
Presentations to follow shortly.
69.1 Marco Jansen to Lahiru Kumara, SOUTH AFRICA WIN THE MATCH AND THE SERIES, they end up with a 2-0 clean sweep over Sri Lanka and in doing so also move to the top of the WTC points table. Jansen gets called in for the first time today and he ambles in and bowls a hard length delivery angled into the batter who looked to make room and hoick it into the leg side, got a big leading edge which went miles up in the air towards mid-wicket where Rickelton settled in and took a comfortable catch.

68.6 Keshav Maharaj to Asitha Fernando, tossed up nicely around off, Asitha defends into the off side
Asitha Fernando, RHB, comes to the crease
Maharaj has sent down almost 25 overs in this innings. He has picked up 5 wickets so far and he might be persisted with for a few more overs as we are yet to see a bowling change by the home side today. The end is near!
68.5 Keshav Maharaj to Vishwa Fernando, 5 FOR MAHARAJ, he has been a workhorse for the Proteas and hasn't he deserved this. Goes round the wicket to the right-hander and angles this one into the batter at the stump, it turns away and Vishwa was looking to hoick that into the leg side. Gets a fat top-edge and it goes high up only to be pouched by Jansen at mid-on.
Vishwa Fernando c Marco Jansen b Keshav Maharaj 5(24b, 0x4, 0x6)
68.4 Keshav Maharaj to Lahiru Kumara, OHH, goes over the wicket and targets the rough outside off. Kumara comes down and drags it to mid-wicket, just a single
68.3 Keshav Maharaj to Lahiru Kumara, slightly shorter on the leg side this time, clips the thigh pad and pops up to short-leg
68.2 Keshav Maharaj to Lahiru Kumara, nicely tossed on off turning in, Kumara lunges and defends
68.1 Keshav Maharaj to Lahiru Kumara, tossed up on off from round the wicket, Kumara blocks it into the off side
Drinks Break : Rabada has been toiling long and hard under the sun. This is his 8th over of the spell. He would love for another wicket under his belt as the tail enders are seen hopping and fending for themselves.
It has been an excellent hour for the Proteas as they put themselves on the brink of victory. How much longer can the visitors delay the inevitable?

67.6 Kagiso Rabada to Vishwa Fernando, short of a length delivery sprayed down the leg side, Verreynne had to put in a big dive to get to that one, does well
