Norway were already 20 odd runs short of their total but their bowling was totally pathetic. After a period of har hitting, they just couldn't do anything. Dished too many full tosses and lovely half volleys to be galloped. First over set the tone for them as it brought 17 runs. 6 different bowlers bowled in these 7 overs. And each got hit for more than 15 runs. Ahmadullah Shinwari was the pick of the bowlers from both the innings. 2 wickets and just 14 runs was appauling!

Awais Ahmed scored 45 runs in just 18 balls which seemed too quick and boosty and then there was Hamza Saleem, who scored 56 runs in just 19 balls. Scored a 18-ball 50! Tormented the bowling attack by playing at a strike rate of 294.7. Yasir Ali fell for a golden duck and Chris Mills, the skipper, accompanied Hamza Saleem till the end. They won with 3 overs and 8 wickets to remain!

AND IT'S DONE! Spain wins by 8 wickets and have earned their first 2 points of this tournament. Tremendous batting effort by the Espana openers. Awais Ahmed and Hamza Saleem! They owned this game as if there wasn't anyone else. Torn apart the bowling lineup barring Ahmadullah Shinwari. Totally bossed this chase from the word go. Came in all guns blazing. 17 runs in the first over and they marked tir territory! No bowler could do anything. Not to take away the poor bowling by Norway. They were terrible with their line and lengths. Ahmed and Hamza got on top of that and creamed a victory. A little hinderance in the middle as Ahmadullah Shinwari got 2 in 2 to awaken some hopes. But that did not have any effect on Hamza Saleem, who stood tall and took his team home.
