Commentary

Well, that's that for Star CC, they have been completely bruised in that game and need some sort of a lift from somewhere to pick themselves up from here on. Dreux won the game by 90 runs!

It's was a perfect game for Dreux, wasn't it? They fired with the bat, they fired with the ball and you couldn't have asked for a better performance from them. They were asked to bat and they responded in great fashion, Nabi and Nisar scoring blistering fifties and put up a mammoth total on board.

With the ball, they were right on the money, just didn't allow Star CC to get away with anything absolutely, they didn't conceded a single boundary in the powerplay and the batting woes for Star CC continues as they crash into their fourth defeat in a row. They need to draw inspiration from somewhere to come up with better batting performances but at the moment they are struggling in the tournament.

Dreux bowling was impressive, Afridi Yaseen, Wahid Abdul in the powerplay ensured they were right on the money and then Star CC kept losing wickets at regular intervals but eventually were put out of misery and ended up losing massively which will dent their net run rate as well.

Plenty to ponder for Star CC but Dreux come up with back to back wins and they'll be certainly looking to progress into the next stages of the tournament and are finding good rhythm with good strong performances like this and they need to build confidence when they face tough teams like Tunbridge Wells and Austria Cricket Tigers.

This has been a clinical performance from them and notch up another comprehensive victory here, the Dreux as they beat Star CC by a mammoth 90 runs!
