Commentary

That's that from this contest. Star CC came so close but then lost by 10 runs, they have a lot of things to work on, especially with the bat. Tunbridge Wells win three out of three and go up top of the table. Well, well, contrasting two halves of the inning for Star CC. They were struggling to find boundaries in the first five overs. Gill and Madan had other ideas and made a merry in the end. Clobbered seven sixes and four boundaries in the final five overs by these two, got too close in the end and if they had done well in the powerplay, they would've ended on the winning side of the game!

Tunbridge Wells were sensational to start with, they pegged them back by picking up early wickets too. Around the five over mark, Star CC didn't have a score of 20 as well but this has been a phenomenal effort from the duo, Gill and Madan who took the onslaught on and smashed the bowlers to all around the park.

In the end, they fell short of 10 runs but they take this confidence into the next game. It was a great game of cricket by Star CC and they can draw a lot of confidence from here to do well in the tournament.
