A three-dimensional dominance helps the Scarlett Ibis Warriors seal a comprehensive victory against the Steelpan Players amidst rain scare.

Arriving for a chase of 85 runs, Kamil Pooran and Joshua Da Silva, the openers, gave a flying start to the Scorchers. 16 runs were belted in the first over and fast forward the innings a couple of overs more, and the scoreboard displayed 51/0 (3).

West Indies premier red-ball gloveman, Da Silva racked up 52 runs from 18 balls and was unfortunate to not being able to finish it off for his side. Nevertheless, Pooran took responsibility on his shoulders and steered his side to victory with 19 balls to spare.

Earlier, the Ibis Scorchers won the toss and elected to field first. Dexter Sween opened the bowling for them while Mario Belcon and Sidel Dian acted as the openers.

Despite losing an early wicket, the Steelpans managed to notch up 84 runs on the back of Belcon's 49* and Goolie's 21. The duo denied any further wickets during the first innings but failed to orchestrate runs in quick pace. Skipper, Kharry Pierre was the lone wicket-taker.
