Stockholm CC beat Huddinge by 6 runs!

Huddinge were in with a chance for as long as Samiullah Ramani was around. But as soon as he departed, Stockholm CC squeezed into the rest of the batters of Huddinge and made sure that they could not quite chase this total down.

This target of 105 was not monumental for Huddinge to chase down, but somehow, they could not get a grip on the way Stockholm CC bowled. The bowlers of the latter have to be appreciated for this, especially left-arm spinner Archan Vaidya, who made sure that pace was taken off the ball.

His slow turners got some purchase from the surface, and foxed the batters of Huddinge. There was no one who stood up for Huddinge, and it was only when Omran Zazai raised his hand and tried to do that in the latter stages of the game that they saw some changes.

Nasir Iqbal too played an interesting hand, and it was the rollicking he gave to Pankaj Kaul in the ninth over of the innings that changed the complexion of the game completely. He struck a massive six off Ashwin Albert in the last over as well but departed soon afterwards.

Albert bowled a fascinating over and ensured the victory for Stockholm CC in dramatic fashion! Stockholm CC, who are about to play against Kista CC in their next game, will feel extremely pleased with their performance here against Huddinge.
