The Royals start their campaign by steamrolling the Warriors. There is only one winner in this contest and it's men vs boys throughout. The bowlers did the damage to make the job of the batters very easy and a sensible batting was good enough for the Royals to cross the finish line. Lugg, however, was in a rush to finish things off as he smashed Walker for 19 runs in the first over

Things became smooth sailing after Lugg's onslaught and it took just 30 deliveries for the Royals to chase the score. It's a crushing defeat for the Warriors and they have to work on their batting to challenge any opposition in this tournament.
