This ended up being a rather lopsided contest from Svanholm's point of view. Rotterdam got off to a good start when Pieter Seelaar struck fifteen runs off the first over by Saud Munir, but things started going south soon after that. The former Dutch captain was sent back by Mads Henriksen.

He was followed by number three Jelte Schoonheim, and that is what precipitated the collapse that no one saw coming. Within a matter of minutes, Rotterdam had dug themselves into a hole out of which they couldn't bring themselves out, and Svanholm had tasted blood.

Svanholm will now proceed to the final of the Group B of the European Cricket League, where they will take on Farmers, who hail from the country of Jersey. It will be a rather exciting game, so do not forget to tune in for it at about 12 AM Indian Standard Time.
