Right! We are at the end of another scintillating thriller which gave us a run for our money. We believe you enjoyed the coverage of this match but the contest needed a finish like this, isn't it? Sean Abbott (Player of the match): From 8-47 we surely have not played in such a game. In low-scoring games, it's tough to bat through. The message was clear from the hut that to take the game as deep as possible and Ben was playing one amazing shots here. Xavier bowl a fantastic last over by hitting those yorkers really. While catching Lynn you know he does not give much time and that just stuck and it really stung my hand as well.

Ben Dwarshuis: I was trying to stay calm and knew that Sean could get us through the line as he is a hard hitter. I was just looking to run as fast as I can towards the end. There is always preparation that happens in the nets, you create scenarios in the practice.

Ohh my god! What are the odds of Sydney Sixers winning a match after 35-7? They believed in themselves. Sean Abbott has been a hero of the match and has always been giving such impactful performances over the years for the teams that he has played. The start was such a discouraging one for the Sixers as wickets kept tumbling from one end. Both openers were dismissed for nought and the experienced duo of Henriques and Christian departed soon which transferred the onus onto the lower middle order. Sean Abbott who picked up 4 wickets with the ball left no stone unturned as he got the job done with the bat as well.

Brisbane Heat bowlers bowled excellent line and lengths coupled with some fantastic variations to defend their meagre total. The endeavour almost turned into reality when they reduced Sixers to 47-8. The tide started turning after the 15th over when the next 3 overs went for 41 runs. Sixers seized the best opportunity to win the encounter nad they rightfully did so after a bit of hiccup in the last over.
