The Perth Scorchers clinch the victory in the end.
Perth Scorchers won the match by 5 wickets.

What a roller coaster ride it was for the batting side. They didn't start that well. Ben Dwarshuis gave them the early blows in Kurtis Patterson and Cameron Bancroft. The latter one looked decent but couldn't go long. After a trivial partnership between Evans and the skipper Turner, Perth Scorchers were never out of the game until the 16th over.

What an innings that was from skipper Ashton Turner! The difference between the two innings was the intent in the batting after a couple of wickets fell down. Turner never looked under pressure even if the wickets fell at the other end. He always looked for scoring options and hence the required run-rate never crept over 8.

As far as the bowling is concerned, Ben Dwarshuis was very adaptive with his game plan but he gave away too many runs in the process. Shadab Khan looked good but he should've bowled the wrong'un's a bit more. His wrong'un seemed difficult to grasp by the batters.

All in all, it was Ashton Turner who stole the show and led from the front. His match-defining knock of 69 runs from 41 balls including 7 fours and 2 sixes was enough to clinch the victory in the end.
