So that's that as far as this contest goes. But the final game of today's triple-header is on its way shortly with the Bangla Tigers taking on The Chennai Braves at this very venue. Head over here to catch our coverage of the same right here on Sportskeeda. For the moment though, this is the duo of Bala and Sooryanarayanan taking your leave. Thank you so much for tuning in today - buh-bye and wishing you a great weekend ahead!
He played quite a stunning knock did Brandon King. Out of nowhere, he single-handedly powered Team Abu Dhabi to a solid total that proved to be pivotal in the end with the team splitting points. Gosh, haven't we witnessed a thriller and a half! The Bulls move into second position with 3 points while Team Abu Dhabi open their account with a solitary point to their kitty. They would want to go for the full Monty next time around of course. Still early days but every point is crucial in this competition, particularly given the volatile nature of the format.
Brandon King is the Player of the Match for his sensational unbeaten 64. Here's what he has to say: In this format, it's great to have tied games. Would have liked to have win. Me and Vincey found it difficult early on to get used to the pace of this wicket. Glad to have stuck in thereafter. Very happy to be here. The format is good for the fans. Happy to be a part of this franchise and looking forward to more.
Andrew Tye: Great game. Ended up in a tie, haven't played in a lot of ties. Unfortunately, we couldn't get over the line today. Wickets slow them down a little bit. We felt we had it in our bag after Keemo Paul's dismissal. Cricket is a funny game, a couple of mistakes on our part and they got back into the game. (On the last delivery) The plan was to bowl a line where he would hit it straight to a fielder, or not get hit for a boundary. Not sure if it was a good thing or bad thing that he hit the stumps, don't know if it would have gone to the boundary. You always look at things, you can't get it down to one moment. We will try to play better next time around and get that win.
Match summary: Match tied between Team Abu Dhabi and Delhi Bulls. Both teams split points!
Brandon King 64* (27) | Andrew Tye 2/22 (2) Imad Wasim 21* (9) | Waqas Maqsood 1/11 (2)
Phew! Breathe folks. Breathe. It was manic all the way alright. Twists, turns and spills aplenty - this is the nature of the T10 format and it was on display at its very best today. Brandon King's blistering onslaught powered Team Abu Dhabi to 120 after a largely lackadaisical batting effort throughout that essay. But their bowlers had a competitive total to play with.
Rilee Rossouw tore into them straightaway though with Peter Hatzoglou in particular coming for some real treatment. Andrew Tye saw the back of the southpaw with an innocuous delivery and that sparked a series of wickets at regular intervals as the Bulls clawed back into the contest.
The asking rate continued to mount with Adil Rashid sending down a couple of impeccable overs. Tim David looked to break free but once Hatzoglou had his moment of redemption and trapped him in front, it seemed as though it was slipping out of hand for Team Abu Dhabi. But Keemo Paul and Imad Wasim didn't buckle down and swung for the bleachers instead to bring it down to 13 required off the final over.
It ebbed and flowed thereafter as Wasim and skipper Dwayne Bravo ran like there was no tomorrow. Naveen-ul-Haq bowled a superb final over and nearly put in a half-stop off the final delivery, but Wasim managed to drill it straight and run a brace to level the scores as the two teams share the spoils as a result. Phew - that was quite a nerve-wracking contest alright!
It's a stalemate! Nothing to separate the two teams after 20 overs of intense battle and that's how it shall remain! Oh what a game we've witnessed at the Zayed Stadium. No Super Over to follow - that will come into effect only in the playoffs! But what a game! Phew!

9.6 Naveen-ul-Haq to Imad Wasim, they get back for a brace! It's a tie! You are kidding me! Full ball on the stumps. Wasim drives it straight back and hits the stumps. Ricochets to long-on and the batters get back for two. What a game of cricket!
Fantastic running from Bravo as he makes it with a stretch. Round-table conferences galore! Huge discussion over the field placements and you can see that the pressure is intense. You can cut the tension with a knife there at the park. Final ball - 3 runs to win!
9.5 Naveen-ul-Haq to Imad Wasim, full ball around the off-stump. Jabs it out to wide long-off. They are running for everything here and makes it back for two
Chaotic, but the Bulls need them. 5 required off 2 deliveries. Can Wasim find the fence again?
9.4 Naveen-ul-Haq to Imad Wasim, beaten! Misses the stumps! They collect a brace out of nowhere! Excellent delivery, deceiving the batter with a slower yorker. Bravo calls his partner through for a bye. The keeper misses the stumps, only for the bowler to have a go at the non-striker's end and concede an overthrough
What a timely boundary for the Bulls! Pressure back on Naveen now and the equation reads 7 off 3...
9.3 Naveen-ul-Haq to Imad Wasim, FOUR! Finds the boundary! Slower ball into the surface. He has enough width to free his arms though. Generates power with his wrists and slaps it to the cover boundary
9.2 Naveen-ul-Haq to Dwayne Bravo, full ball outside off. Bravo opens the face of the bat and drives it to deep point. Just a single
12 needed off 5...
9.1 Naveen-ul-Haq to Imad Wasim, slower ball short of a length. Wasim gets deceived and only gets an under edge to short thirdman
Naveen-ul-Haq [1.0-0-10-0] to bowl the final over of the game.
Dwayne Bravo, RHB, comes to the crease.
A timely wicket indeed but haven't the Bulls surged ahead and how! They are comfortably ahead of where Team Abu Dhabi were at the same stage until that massive over off the bowling of Dwayne Bravo. Well, the Bulls skipper has a shot at redemption now. Delhi Bulls require 13 runs to win off the final over!
