That's all from us then! We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this Abu Dhabi T10 game between Team Abu Dhabi and Northern Warriors. This is Soumarya Dutta, signing off on behalf of my partner Pradeep. See you soon!
Team Abu Dhabi 99/2 in 9.4 over's. Alex Hales 44(25) | Rayad Emrit 1/16 Chris Lynn 31(20) | Abhimanyu Mithun 1/17
Right so, this has been an absolutely clinical effort from Team Abu Dhabi! They badly needed a win to get their campaign up and running and they couldn't have done it in a better way. Bowling first, they restricted the Warriors to a paltry 95 in 10 over's. It was never going to be a hard chase and their opening batter's Alex Hales and the captain Chris Lynn made it look even easier. They were in firm control from the first over and always remained ahead of the required rate. Alex Hales was the aggressive of the two as Chris Lynn played second fiddle to him. There was some late drama in the end, with a couple of wicket's but they eventually romped home with two balls to go as James Vince and Brandon King completed the formality in the end.
For the Warriors, they needed to get some early wicket's to make a match out of this one but they failed to do that. Most of their bowler's travelled the distance and Rayad Emrit was the only one who made some impact. Abhimanyu Mithun too got a wicket in the end, but it was a little too late. They will be disappointed with their efforts in this game as they have been completely outplayed here.
Overall, a great win for Team Abu Dhabi and they will be mighty pleased with their effort today. They've clicked in all departments and will take a lot of confidence going ahead in the tournament from this game. For the Warriors, well they will have to go back to the drawing board and work on their short-comings, especially the batting, that let them down big time in this game.
Chris Lynn, Abu Dhabi Captain- It's been an excellent win for us today. The bowler's did really well and then with the bat, Hales and Vince were exceptional. The pitch was a bit tricky, but our batter's took their time and once they had their eye in, they could accelerate from there on. We are going to enjoy this win and take a bit of time off. Maybe play some golf to relax ourselves and then come back fresh for the next game.
Alex Hales has been adjudged the Player of the Match for his blistering innings. Here's what he has to say: Enjoyed the last couple of months, first two games weren't too good for us, tonight it worked as I and Lynny put the pressure on straight away and it worked for us.
James Vince: It's about time we won a game, we missed out in the last game but we pulled it off here. You simply have no time to get yourselves in a format like this, Hales made the job easy for us in the end but the bowlers did a splendid job to restrict earlier on. It's a good bunch of players, coaching staff, whole group of players, we get on well.
Team Abu Dhabi win by 8 wickets!
9.4 Abhimanyu Mithun to Brandon King, FOUR! THUMPING WIN FOR TEAM ABU DHABI! They pick up their first win here and plenty to ponder for the Northern Warriors. Full on the stumps, King whacked that one away and beats diving mid-on to his right, runs away and picks out the ropes and it's all smiles in the Team Abu Dhabi dug out.
Brandon King, RHB, comes to the crease.
9.3 Abhimanyu Mithun to Chris Lynn, OUT! DRAGS IT BACK ON! Lynn goes the glory shot and perishes. Length delivery on the fourth stump, Lynn staying leg-side of the ball to heave but gets the inside edge to drag it back on to the stumps.
Chris Lynn bowled Abhimanyu Mithun 31(20b 3x4 1x6)
9.2 Abhimanyu Mithun to Chris Lynn, slower one, full on the off-stump, Lynn drilled it past cover fielder, they scamper through for a brace. Scores are level!
9.1 Abhimanyu Mithun to James Vince, pace off, was short on the off-stump, Vince gets on top of the bounce and pulled it into the turf, through backward square-leg for one.
Abhimanyu Mithun (1.0-0-0-11) comes back into the attack.
Right so, we will head into the last over then! Rayad Emrit kept that over down to 7 runs only and it's been a good spell from him. Just four needed now though, for the Abu Dhabi team and they are only one hit away.

8.6 Rayad Emrit to James Vince, excellent pick up shot but finds the fielder at deep backward square-leg. Vince leans and picks it from outside off to flick that one away but gets just one.
8.5 Rayad Emrit to Chris Lynn, short and way outside the off-stump, Lynn walks across and slapped it to deep covers for just one.
8.4 Rayad Emrit to James Vince, short again on the fifth stump, Vince swivels to pu ll but has toe ended it just wide of the keeper for a single.
8.3 Rayad Emrit to James Vince, short again but wide of off-stump, Vince hangs back to slash that one hard but misses, through to the keeper.
8.2 Rayad Emrit to James Vince, short on the wide of off-stump, Vince on his toes, reaches for it and slapped it to deep extra-cover, they hustle back for another brace. Just 7 needed now!
8.1 Rayad Emrit to James Vince, length delivery and down the leg-stump, Vince flicked that one away and Udana was a bit sloppy to release the ball immediately as they sprint back for the brace.
Seems like we are heading for an early finish! James Vince has come out with some purpose here and he seems to be in a hurry. Just 11 needed for Abu Dhabi in the last 2 over's now.
