That brings us to the end of our coverage for this match. But the action in Limassol continues. Match 53 gets underway in about half an hour's time. Join us for that game too. From here, Bidipto Dutta and Darpan Tikiya sign off.
It is a convincing victory for the Knight Riders. However, they would go back and mull over the fact that they could not get to the target a ball earlier. Had they done that, they would have also taken the bonus point off this match.
The victory was set up by their bowlers, who put in a commendable performance as a unit. Every bowler who got a chance to roll his arm over picked up a wicket as CKR restricted the Telugu 11 to a miserly score of 86/6.
The chase, however, was not as straight forward to begin with. Kakita and Alavala bowled tidy overs in the powerplay and had the CKR openers on a leash. Then, Kumara started taking his chances as he swung wildly at every other ball that was bowled at him. While, his knock of 20 did set the tone, it was Sarkar's 9-ball-24 that ultimately tipped the scales in the favour of the Knight Riders and brought them within the touching distance of the bonus point.
Telugu 11 were, in the end, able to drag the match into the 8th over which meant that they aren't going away from this match empty handed. Though, their search for the first win in the tournament continues.
7.1 Subbareddy Alavala to Rayhan Sarker, VICTORY TO CYPRUS KNIGHT RIDERS! Back of a length on off-stump. Tapped to backward point off the back foot for a quick single in the end.
Subbareddy Alavala [1-0-2-0] to bowl.
They do not attempt the second run off the last ball. The scores are levelled now. However, had CKR knocked the target down off the last ball, they would have got a bonus point.

6.6 Vimal Khanduri to Rayhan Sarker, OH NO! BONUS POINT NOT TAKEN! Full on leg-stump. Swung away to the fine-leg area from the crease but just for a single. Scores are level.
6.5 Vimal Khanduri to Denuwan Prarthana, good length ball on the pads. A swing and a miss on the charge but the batters manage to collect a leg-bye.
6.4 Vimal Khanduri to Denuwan Prarthana, FOUR! Short and wide outside off. Nicely punched away through cover point and in the gap for a boundary!
6.3 Vimal Khanduri to Rayhan Sarker, full on off-stump. Squirted to the short fine-leg region off the inside edge for a single.
6.2 Vimal Khanduri to Rayhan Sarker, SIX! Slightly short around off-stump. Blasted away over the right of long-off for a maximum from the back foot!
6.1 Vimal Khanduri to Denuwan Prarthana, full toss on off-stump. Lofted over the in-field down to long-on for a single.
Expensive over from Avinash Rane. The Cyprus Knight Riders now need only 15 more runs to win. If they can get this within the next over, they would win with a bonus point.
