Commentary

Turned out to be a one-sided contest in the end. Chennai Braves lacked experienced batters in the middle order and that was one of the main reasons for their downfall tonight. But having said that, the Strikers dictated terms with the ball and made it difficult for the Braves. Kieron Pollard: Last game we were short with the bat but this time we performed well to post a score of nearly 100 on this wicket. We have to back the bowlers. Last night after we lost we have spoken about what we could've done better with the ball and the bowler stepped in today. It's a quick tournament and there is no space for any relaxation

Akeal Hosein (Man of the match): There was a lot of grass on this wicket but I didn't expect it to spin but it did. I have a game plan and try to execute the line and length. We have a good leader and we talk about tactics. As a bowler it's very stressful but we have to enjoy the challenge

A mighty hit to end the match, but it's of no use. The Strikers looked a better team throughout the match as they emerged victorious with no fuss. Akeal Hosein did the damage in the powerplay as he got rid of the openers, and the Strikers stamped their authority with the ball in the middle overs too

Jordan Thompson plagued the batters with sheer pace and made sure that his team was halfway near the finish line when he knocked Sikander Raza's stumps over. In the end, the partnership between Brathwaite and Arvind only helped the team to reduce the deficit of the defeat

Jordan Thompson: We probably missed out on a few things yesterday. We will take confidence from today. Its about tomorrow and this will give us confidence. Maybe a couple of drinks, enjoying the football. We can always trust in Pollard and the big guys to chip. We have an experienced bowling attack and it paid off.
