Comprehensive win for United CC on their ECS debut! This was end-to-end domination. Ahmed set the tone for it with the first-ball six and the partnership between Kumar and Unnikrishnan was key to pushing them beyond 150. Super Kings were never the favorites to chase it, given their batting troubles in the tournament, but they never showed any intent to even get close.

They scored just one run off the first over in the chase and were eventually down to 22/2 at the end of the powerplay. United CC started with full balls to stop the run flow but shifted to a good length after the powerplay that brought them wickets in heaps. No batter looked in any hurry to take on the bowlers or counter-attack and everyone failed to go past 15.

United CC look like a proper team with tons of experience and skill while Super Kings have a lot to work on if they want to stay in this compeition.
