Oh no no no! Why, why did they go for that overthrow?! They say never run on a misfield, the last United CC pair turned a bit greedy to keep Kayani on strike! Hats off to Baneasa skipper Ijaz Hussain, though! He has carried an injury all game, comes on to bowl a crucial penultimate over, recovered from a fumbled take, kept his composure, and got the run out to complete the match! The United CC batters were rampant in their approach, trying to finish things off in quick time, but they ended up conceding far too many wickets for their liking! Too many sixes and outs in that chase, and it was left to the tail to get them home with 30-odd runs still left! Aftab Kayani tried his level best, and at one stage, despite the United CC going down to their last man, it felt like they'd get home and seal a qualifiers spot, but that was not meant to happen! An 11-run win for Baneasa, United CC now have to play the eliminator against Cluj, while Baneasa get two cracks at getting to the final, the first being against Bucharest Gladiators!
