Commentary

Zain Naqvi with a brilliant match-winning performance to take his side past the line comfortably in the end then! Unbeaten on 52 off just 22 deliveries in what was a terrific knock which was much-needed for Tropical. 92/5 is what they got to in 7.4 overs in the end. The openers gave them a flying start getting past the fifty mark in the powerplay and the game was pretty much done right there.

Miah Alamin picked three wickets while Rajib Miah picked two for Venezia. They did get those few wickets in the middle but the poor bowling in the powerplay really cost them at the beginning. They did not have enough runs to play with in the end. The final overs with the bat where they did not quite finish well also cost them a few extra runs that may have come handy. Nonetheless, they were outplayed in this contest.
