Graz Cricket Academy beat Vienna Danube by 7 wickets!

Graz Cricket Academy managed to chase this total down with plenty to spare and made sure that their net run rate got a big boost. Shawkat Durani and skipper Bharath Gowda were the stars for them with the bat in hand, but others such as Abidullah Kotwal and Yogesh Belage managed to play cameos that came in handy.

Although Graz did lose a couple of quick wickets in the fourth over, they did not struggle to knock the runs down. The bowlers of Vienna Danube were in for a big shock, as they had not anticipated this kind of an assault by the side from Graz.

This win will give Graz a lot of confidence and we expect them to take this confidence further into the competition and build on it. Vienna Danube will have to go back to the drawing board and seek out ways in which they can resurrect their campaign. In short, Vienna Danube will have to pull their socks up.

5.4 Dilagha Jabarkhel to Bharath Gowda, no ball, byes, FOUR! That settles it then, Graz Cricket Academy take the game by 7 wickets with close to half the overs to spare! Jabarkhel, trying to give this one some air, gave too much of it, sprayed it over waist height down the leg side, Gowda looked to put it away but missed, the keeper missed it as well, and let it through to the ropes!
