A straightforward run chase in the end for the Vieux Fort North Raiders as they romp home by 7 wickets with 5 deliveries to spare. Dane Edward had the game covered. Opening the batting, he stayed there till the end, played some amazing shots and eventually remained unbeaten on 70 off 31 deliveries to take his side over the finishing line.

They lost a couple of wickets just before the end of the game which was down to some poor batting. Dwight Thomas and Dean Edward started off cautiously and found the boundaries whenever something loose was presented. Both were quick to latch onto width. Dean in particular blazed his way in the powerplay but the run rate then came down a bit with the bowlers squeezing out some tight overs.

Despite some casual batting towards the back end, Dean Edward had his target set. He smashed 6 fours and 6 sixes during his belligerent knock which ensured a comfortable victory for them in the end. Alvinus Simon was the pick of the bowlers with a couple of wickets to his name while Vince Smith also bowled tightly, bagging a wicket for just 11 runs.
