MATCH SUMMARY
Tallinn Stallions won by 128 runs
Faraaz Abbas 86(27) | Saif Rehman 2/4(2) Rupam Baruah 27(12) | Zahoor Ahmad 1/16(1)
This was a no-contest if ever there was one. Tallinn Stallions have outbatted, outbowled and outfielded the Viking Stars to hand them a defeat by a whopping margin of 128 runs, one that will be tough to swallow.
There was simply no match between the two teams right from the time the match started. While Tallinn Stallions had 13 fours and 18 sixes in their batting display which propelled them to a mammoth score of 193, the Viking Stars could only cross the ropes 6 times in their entire 10 overs, 4 of which were along the ground. There was a gulf in the quality of both the teams and it would have been visible from afar.
Chasing 194, it never looked like Viking Stars wanted to even have a go at it. Their opener, Arqum Shahid, baffled with a 17-ball 3 in which he took 13 balls to get off the mark. Skipper Baruah was the only one who looked like someone who could bat properly, all the other looked short of a gallop.
Tallinn Stallions had fun with the ball as there was not a single instance where they were put under pressure. Their bowlers juts turned up, rolled their arms over and finished their quotas. The spin of Zahaan Khan got 2 wickets but towards the end it were the heroes from the first innigs, the openers, Abbas and Rehman who were thrown the ball and they returned with 3 wickets in between them in 3 overs.
Abbas and Rehman had stitched a scintillating 115-run opening partnership in 32 balls to lay the foundation of this tall building that the Stallions had built with the bat. While Rehman fell short of his fifty, Abbas carried on with Rifaq Khan, who himself scored a quickfire cameo, and scored a swashbuckling 86 to propel the score to 193. The bowling, from the the Viking Stars, was awful just like the batting and they seemed to be not ready for this level of the game.

Time for Saif's opening partner Faraaz Abbas, right-arm off break, to have a bowl
Double wicket over from Saif and he was ecstatic as he took those wickets, he is hard-hitter who does not get to bowl often
